Myanmar

Myanmar is one of the Southeast Asian countries. The country has opened its door to tourism, business, education, and international relationship. Although Myanmar was under the law of military for over 60 years, the people have stood together to obtain the democracy. Today, I am going to share the travel safety, places to avoid, and the locals.

Travel Safety

In term of travel safety, Myanmar is not one of the scary and dangerous countries in the world. Maybe, you will find and read news and information about how bad and cruel Myanmar is. That’s why you wonder whether you should visit or not. I understand your feeling.

For the travel safety, first – I recommend you to google about Myanmar and the country’s situation. You can find much information here – the Tipkation. Second, you know about travel insurance. It is difficult to get a travel insurance in Myanmar, so you should buy a travel insurance before visiting Myanmar.

Places to Avoid

You must not go to some places where you can get hurt, killed, or even kidnapped. I recommend not to go to the borders of Myanmar and other countries where the conflicts usually happen. What is your point of going there? Right!!!! Unless you are from BBC or CNN to risk your life just for a piece of news, then you do not have to listen to my advice.

The Locals

Many tourists have commented that they have seen the friendliness and kindness of the local Burmese people. Personally, it is simply that you will be treated how you have treated others. I said this statement because I have seen friendly people and unfriendly people in the places and countries I have traveled. It is about you and how you make friends while traveling to a different country.
